What started as a neighborhood bakery in Montclair has become one of New Jersey's most beloved artisan food destinations.
We believe food is the best reason to travel.
Every recipe in our kitchen has a story. The laminated dough technique we use for our croissants came from a week spent in a Paris boulangerie. Our mango lassi recipe was inspired by a street stall in Jaipur. The kouign-amann? A rainy afternoon in Brittany.
We bring those discoveries home to New Jersey — and then we make them ours. That's what “chasing the new flavor” means to us. Not novelty for its own sake, but genuine curiosity about what food can be.
